OUR GROUP MINISTRIES

ADULT REHAB MINISTRY (ARM)
Offers spiritual guidance and assistance to those struggling with addiction and the families who are in the fight with them. ARM meetings occur twice each month.
ANSWERING THE CALL
Our Meals Ministry assists those in need of meals with food and information for resources to eliminate food insufficiency. Our food pantry serves all residents of Montgomery County distributing food on the 3rd Saturday (3-6pm) and 4th Sunday (12-3pm) each month to the community at large. Volunteers also prepare and deliver hot meals for certain occasions and special life events.
BACK TO SCHOOL
This ministry is pretty busy during the months of May – August making sure that children and grandchildren of our members have school supplies necessary for their return to school. Additionally, a minimum of two scholarships are offered annually to high school seniors entering college or trade school. Applications are available by April and are due at the end of June; winners are announced in July.
MEN OF DESTINY
Men's fellowship where men 18 years of age and older come together to discuss real life issues faced by men today; health, employment, parenting, marriage, etc. No topics are excluded. Meetings are held once a month on Saturday
HOUSING MINISTRY
Helping those in need find housing, referral to resources, and providing information for those who are interested in purchasing homes.
LIVING SINGLE
This ministry offers council, fun, advice and right living information for those who are hoping to be married, happily single, divorced, or widowed.
PRISON MINISTRY
This team ministers the word of God and provides spiritual guidance for those who are currently incarcerated. Their work offers freedom to men and women who are behind bars.
REACH ONE
Volunteer ministry to contact those who haven’t attended service in 2-3 consecutive weeks.
SISTERS OF VNL
Women’s fellowship and support group discussing real topics faced by the women of today. Meetings are held once a month on Saturday.
VNL MEDIA
Our media team handles music, website design, VNL orders, audio and video recordings, and much more.
YOUTH COUNCIL
The VNL Youth Council presides over the church youth ages 13 - 18 and acts as their voice within the VNL community. The council addresses church matters and issues concerning the youth and works to improve the quality of their VNL experience. This includes planning trips and events, addressing academic and social concerns, old and new traditions, communication with staff, leaders, and administration, etc.
